St John the Baptist Parish Church, Church Hill, Sedlescombe

At the heart of our Church Family is the celebration of the 10am Sunday Eucharist.

The Lord's own service, for the Lord's own people, on the Lord's own day.

During the interegum - the time between priests - we are fortunate to have visting priests to celebrate, preach and send us out in the power of the Holy Spirit.

The Church is open from dawn to dusk. Morning Prayer is offered up daily by members of our Chuch family in the Blessed Sacrement Chapel at 9.00am and you are very welcome to join them. There is an interession book on the Welcome Desk just inside the church door, and an opportunity to light votive candles in the nave of the Church.

Please do visit the Church, to pause and pray awhile.

Baptism, Confirmation, Holy Matrimony, and Confession are all joyfully celebrated here with arrangements made through Andrew Corbett, our Church Warden.

The Churchyard is beautiful and over the centuries many of the Villagers of Sedlescombe have found their resting place here. There is a memorial book, to remember the Souls of the Faithful Departed in our Church Family prayers, on their anniversary. Again please contact Andrew for further details.
